Do I need an appointment for everyday alterations?
Yes. All tailoring visits are scheduled by appointment to make sure you have dedicated mirror time and our tailor's undivided attention.
What is an "Original Hem" on jeans, and why is it better?
A standard hem simply cuts the jean leg and folds it under, leaving a plain, flat stitch that looks obviously altered. An original hem (Euro hem) cuts the original distressed, stone-washed factory edge off and reattaches it seamlessly, maintaining the designer wash and authentic stitching of the denim.
Can you replace broken zippers on heavy coats and jackets?
Yes! We replace and repair broken zippers on down winter coats, parkas, leather jackets, fleece jackets, hoodies, and jeans using durable, high-grade hardware.
How long do everyday alterations take?
Most standard alterations—such as pant hemming, waist taking-in, and shirt tapering—take between 1 and 2 weeks. Rush options are available if you need them sooner.
Can you alter leather or heavy canvas garments?
Yes. Our studio is equipped with heavy-duty commercial machines designed to stitch through thick raw denim, leather, canvas workwear, and insulated outerwear without fabric distortion.
