Fifi Papadopoulos Voulgaris did not speak one word of English when she moved to the United States from Greece nearly 38 years ago, but while she had yet to master the English language, she had mastered another skill that made her new U.S. neighbors take notice: sewing. Having started sewing at age 10, Fifi combined her gift of sewing with her love of people and warm personality to make a difference for the people around her through her work.
Fifi quickly learned English and started a successful business tailoring clothing as a master seamstress in Dallas, Texas. After meeting the love of her life, she followed her heart to Chicago and ten years ago opened Fifi's Bridal & Custom Tailoring
in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Fifi is a master at working her “Greek magic” to put together the perfect look for her clients, but she also is an expert at making each one of her customers feel at home. She loves to encourage and talk to people, so when you visit FiFi's Bridal & Custom Tailoring, you will come in a stranger, and leave as a well-dressed friend. A woman of great faith, Fifi is also a guest minister at Willowcreek Church in South Barrington, Illinois.
